Topsy Turvy

topsy turvy is the name of a novel i have been writing. it is a multi-book series. in the "information" subfolder here, you will see information on species, and the country. below is information on the characters of  the novel. you have been warned, there are several spoilers and mentions of violence, drugs, abuse, and death.

topsy turvy is about three people on a quest in a world where good, or bad emotions can entirely encompass someone. witches, or faeries. the three people? that's jack, gerroson, and lily. 

a liar, a monster, and a blue-haired girl. 

the goal is very simple: to stop savage creatures totally consumed by negative emotions and now wreak havoc on society. well, those creatures? those creatures are, or were, people. they are possessed by parasites referred to as "bugs." an individual "bugged" is called a witch. the problem? there's only one way to stop a witch: to slit the throat. shooting it works too. or using scissors. same outcome.

the question of morality immediately becomes apparent, and must be answered. what defines something as human? does the minute parasites control someone's brain take that away? but then, how do you stop things like that? is that murder? does that exempt murder?

and as they go deeper, more things become apparent. secrets about the government, and their country are revealed. a violent conspiracy unfolds, and with it goes everything they believe in.
