Partial retelling of William Shakespeare's Hamlet. In the cusp of invasion, Prince Hamlet has gone mad- or so they say. He is broken, at a loss, for everything he has known is no longer as it should be. Yet he still has his friends... whether they're on his side or not.

There's also Fortinbras, a prince not unlike Hamlet himself...

setting

The exact setting is unknown, yet there is a certainty. Ice surrounds all that can be seen. A castle whose foundations seem to frost over, and whose every wall is a spyglass to and for each of its inhabitants.
