Please feel free to hit me up if you were unable to save or have lost any icons I have done for Artfight.
I had asked last year if my icons were okay to be done for AF as I draw each one individually and only use guidelines and not a base, and was told it was alright. Looks like things have changed now, and every single icon I've done from both last year and this year were deleted. :( It feels like a kick in the teeth and I'm not sure if there's much that can be done now, but I just wanted to put out a bulletin in case anybody is missing their icons.

Head buzzing with questions about this race you've never heard about, you follow Mimi down the path. The treeline starts to recede and soon you see the forms of colorful buildings and people passing by. Mimi sees the curious look on your face and throws her arms out to the side, voice loud and boisterous.
"Welcome to the Outpost, I'm sure you'll find your way through here! And oh, before I forget-"
She rummages around in one of her packs and pulls out a key that she slips into your hand. It feels warm to the touch, and you can't help but feel like it might have a bit of life to it.
"This might come in handy!"

I’ve been working on getting this species ready for a long time now, and as a birthday treat to myself, I’m sharing them to the world! The world of Mimikai is officially open to the public, and with that, I’m having a special MYO launch event! There will also be a raffle both on TH and on Discord for a Mimikai design!

We ask that you please join the Discord server, as it will be the hub for monthly prompts, special events and all the recent news! The species will be most active there, and we heavily recommend joining. Thanks so much for all of the love and support over the weeks, and I can't wait to see where this takes us!
You spend a fair amount of time with Mimi on the road, listening to her talk about her kind, and how they worked together to create a town together. It seems like the Outpost is quite the bustling center, but everything is so new and it seems they need every bit of help they can get. And then there's that great hole in the ground, where adventurers go in and come back speaking of monsters, dangers and riches.
"It's really not that bad once you get the hang of things! I can't wait to introduce ya to everyone, there's quite some characters there. Especially that weird shopkeeper, but you'll meet her soon enough! Now come on, we're almost there!"
You continue to listen to her talk on and on, and eventually you find your mind wandering to the Mimikai themselves again.....

You rapidly blink your eyes, unsure of what you're seeing. Did that treasure chest just....turn into a person? The self-proclaimed Mimi looks at you oddly, like she can't quite tell what the matter is. She taps a gloved finger on her cheek a couple times before a lightbulb goes off above her head.
"Oh, I got it now! You're like, new-new aren't you! Bet you've never seen a Mimikai in your entire life. Well don't you worry, you got your very own head of the welcomin' committee right here!" She points her thumb at her chest, seeming to be very proud of a title that you might assume is also self-proclaimed. But, she seems friendly enough, so you nod your head. It's the truth, you have no idea what a Mimikai is!
It doesn't take long before Mimi reaches out to grab your wrist, and starts dragging you along that old dirt road.
"Come on, I can tell you everythin' you need to know before we get to the Outpost!"

You can find out more information about the Mimikai species there, along with some other helpful links! The species is currently still a work in progress (trait & species sheets specifically), but the opening of the Discord and a MYO event will be coming very soon! I've been working on this in the background for awhile now, and I'm very excited to share this all with you. <3
