i'm not gonna lie these tips might suck but it's literally just what i do, but i just draw a lot and change my style every once in a while until i find myself happy with it !! i take some light inspo from other artists i like (after taking mental note which features i particularly like about their art).
also studies of colour/anatomy/what have you would do you good too but i'm LAZY and don't actually do those (LOCK ME UP I DARE YOU)

hii! i’m trying to open comms and i kinda want to start through toyhouse - do you have any tips on how to get more people to see my art and other things commission related :o
raffles!!! people love free art, so i feel the best way to get subs/favs/etc. is to make raffles (and advertise them on other places like discord servers meant for art advertisement if your account is fairly small to start with)
otherwise, just read up on the best ways to take commissions with the payment methods available to you (best ways to protect yourself as a seller from scams, what to do/what not to do in terms of the service's tos, etc.)
also make sure to make your own tos outlining what people can/can't do with your art !

you can actually save the file as PSD and it will save all the layers !! you can send it to me on DA, i'll just copy paste a guide i wrote for someone else:
make sure you've saved the comm as a PSD - it will save all the layers that way
go to your pfp in the top right > my studio > sta.sh > media uploads > upload the PSD
click on the file and it should appear as "unlisted" - please send me the link to that and i should be able to download it !
if it's a PSD file, there will not be a preview but that's how it should be ! lmk if you have any questions
