Back from my exam, woo! Which means I can finally return to forum games ;w;
Just popping in to say I am going to be absent from TH for a short while, due to exams coming up. I've unsubbed from my usual threads and my activity here will be limited (might post new characters and art).
If I owe you an art trade I'll still be working on it in my free time!
Just a quick overview of the species in my Erebus continuum (Gods of Erebus, Sabre of the Goddess, Demon Arc), which takes place on the twin planets of Erebus and Ranegus.
Erebus
Humans
Not much to explain here. Just your average everyday humans, with lifespans similar to our own. They mainly reside on the Heralsis Val continent.
Giants
Very similar to humans, but immensley bulky and averaging in height from 7ft. They live on the tundra continent on Giatu Nobla, and are the nation most likely to be at war, in an effort to expand their land.
Dryads
The people of Oriatta Ana, with green eyes, pointed ears, and thick brown noses. They are the size of average humans and are known to tame and ride dinosaurs.
Trolls
About the size of humans, most trolls are big, bulky and hairy. They are a pacifist race and are usually neutral in conflicts. They live on the continent of Priung Atla.
Ranegus
Star-Children
The Children of the supposed goddess Erlora and three Stars, they live in one settlement on the planet Ranegus and are all one family of siblings. They are divided into Castes depending on who their father Star was – Une, Kithe or Yora. They appear as normal humans, but have an extended life. Those of the Une Caste are also connected to elemental aspects of the planets Ranegus and Erebus, leading many Mortals to view them as Gods though they do not consider themselves as such.
Automatons
Machines of humanoid appearance that serve as caretakers of the Star-Children in the absence of their parents. They have protected the Children for years, and take care of all their needs, including looking after their food supply and producing clothing and other materials required by them.
Leviathans
Dragon-like semi-aquatic creatures that live on Ranegus. They are a violent predatory race, but capable of sentient thought and reasoning. They are the sworn enemies of the Star-Children. They usually appear as dragon creatures, but some seahorse like individuals are to be found. There is also one instance of a completely humanoid Leviathan, whose origins are a mystery.

I have too many favourite babies, but Aqua and Athauror seem to get drawn a lot so...

While not my oldest character overall, Adriel was the first I uploaded on here.
7) What is / are your favourite species?
I'm not too fussed tbh!
8) What do you look for in a design?
If I can see the design working out in the plots I have stored in my brain, it works for me!
9) Favourite colour schemes?
Blues, blacks, yellows, golds...
10) Least favourite colours / themes? What don't you like?
Neon colours ughhhh
11) What would your characters say about you?

12) How many of your characters have you designed yourself? Do you buy designs?
Nearly all! I only recently starting using designs from other people. Only Magnar and Min weren't designed by me.
13) Dream species to own?
None, really don't see the appealing of buying the right to someone else's species when I could happily be making my own.
14) Have you ever traded away / sold a character?
Nope
15) Where do your character names originate from?
I just tend to pick names I like haha! This means my worldbuilding suffers a bit from "Aerith and Bob" when it comes to names, but idc.

Currently converting the "Likes&Dislikes" sections into Trivia sections, since coming up with material for the former is HARD. At least with Trivia I can still provide something of better understanding of the character ;_;
This is not a very expansive list, but I'm open to suggestions on what might make my profiles more interesting owo;
1 - Relationships
Probably not for every single character and not every single relationship, but might expand a bit on the more important ones e.g Athauror and Aqua.
2 - Abilities
For super powered characters such as some of the Star-children or the wizards. Probably not very expansive as not all of the characters have been developed fully in this regard.
Finally I can get that long ass entry off the front page :D
So yeah, I finished all the profiles I currently have. Some are a bit sparse because some characters are more developed than others but overall I'm pretty happy with them.
Long time no Toyhou.se! Anyway, I will try and get my current list of characters done asap. Still undecided on busts/icons but we will cross that bridge when we need to.
