Hello! How have you all been this year? We're nearly a quarter of the way done with 2026 and things have felt rather quick... and at the same time, there are times where it feels like it's going by pretty slowly.
I'd like to share the announcement that I officially have a VGen account! I've actually had it for a few months, but I haven't used it as I still do have Ko-Fi to which I barely used. Over time, Ko-fi has seen a lot of use with downloads for [F2U] LK-ARPG 4 TH as well as 3D commissions that occur outside Toyhouse. So I figured to perhaps move my coding over to VGen and leave Ko-Fi for my general art commissions not pertaining to code. Over the coming days, I'll be packing text files to my codes to make them available for download on VGen. I will still keep the color-coded version on Toyhouse for those that are Free-To-Use, so don't worry about those going away. ^^
I'm hoping that throughout the year, I can consider making some premium Pay-To-Use codes this year. For the longest time, I have been a bit nervous that people wouldn't be interested in paying money for my code work after I've been making them for free ever since I made this account 10 years ago. However, my 3D commission work outside of Toyhouse has kept me busy from making more free codes as unfortunately my financial situation has been in the gutter over the past couple months. So I'm hoping maybe making some really cool coding stuff could help ease off my commission work. It's still up in the air, but I hope you guys love what I have planned!
If you have VGen, feel free to follow me there: https://vgen.co/mrpuppychow
Thank you so much and have a wonderful spring!
Please keep my family and neighbors in your thoughts and prayers. It's happening so close to home. It's been a good run tho. Hopefully we can make it out safe, but I'm just tired and scared.
I apologize for the lack of any new coding content. Not exactly the way I would've like to start 2026, but here we are.
Happy Holidays!!
Cheers!!
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it and happy holidays to everyone else!! ^^ This year has really been a very... eventful year. I hope everyone has made it through well. If you're having a rough time, I wish that everything turns for the better as soon as possible. You made it this far and 2026 is just around the corner.
As far as coding is concerned, this lately my output has been rather slow. Coding is a side project of mine and I usually come around here when I need to distract myself from the usual 3D model and vector stuff I do out in the furry circles. Regardless, I'm super happy people come to see what I have made and drop a fave or two. I especially love reading all the comments I get in my codes. Thank you so much for your support throughout the year! I have more things to post and I'm really excited to see what you think about it. x3
You guys are the best! Take care and stay safe out there!

Thank you so much for the support over the past year!! You guys are amazing and I'm glad people like the little codes I do in my spare time. ^^

My premium membership ran out today and currently I'm in a financial hiccup to buy another year atm. The codes themselves should still be functional and you'll still be able to copy them just fine. It's mostly just their presentation that will suffer a little. Sorry for any inconveniences this might cause in the meantime. ^^" Don't hesitate to reach out in case something does completely break and I'll find a fix for it.
Thanks!

Edit: Thank you villaincomplex for the 3 months!! Hopefully by then I should be able to keep premie going.
Mascot
Should I look for one specific to this account?
Do you suppose I should dedicate a character to become a mascot for this account?
Currently, the icon itself was actually just a doodle of a random dog with code. Nothing in specific, but it fulfills its purpose to not be a blank space. As for my codes, I generally use my fursona Yupperz Puppychow (and sometimes others) as a stand-in for layouts that call for a preview. I wouldn't necessarily change those previews, but a dedicated mascot can help fill the role. x3
This was just a random thought I had as I look for characters to adopt from time to time. Lemme know what you think, haha. x3
Ko-Fi
Would it be good to move them there?
There have been a couple instances where I've seen fellow code maker exclusively post the code for download via Ko-Fi and Gumroad.
Personally, I do really like that idea as it making posting the raw code so much easier by simply having the user download a TXT file instead of me having to spend a few minutes rewriting the code so it can be formatted for viewing on Toyhouse by replacing every single < and > with their respective HTML entities. That stuff is kinda the part I always dread because editing the code is also challenging due to how weird the default text field is so picky. Likewise, that code view requires Premium to maintain a clean look. Not only that, it does also encourage tips, which in this time could def help with the amount of hours I spend making these things, haha.
However, on the other hand, the advantage of having to put the effort of coding them here is that I can customize the colors to better illustrate important parts of the code. While I haven't heard such feedback about it, I do feel it is important to take into consideration those who may not have the time or knowledge to understand HTML and just simply want an easy experience in editing the code. Thus, a clean, color-coded code might help speed up the process and get people to enjoy their codes.
What are your thoughts about it? Should I make the move? Should I stay with what I've done? How have your experiences looked when it comes to using my codes as it is right now? Feel free to leave comments or just answering the poll is enough.
Thank you so much for your continued support throughout all this time I've been rather inactive on this account. I deeply want to apologize for my lack of content and support ever since I last released TH is the new DA code. So much has happened in my personal life that balancing both this account and my main account became a little difficult. However, I still haven't forgotten about you. I've read all the wonderful comments you left and I got to take a look as so many new pages styled up with my layouts and the single CSS style I made. Thank you so much!
I hope that I'll be a little more active on this page:
- Just now I recently released a guide that walks you through a typical HTML code I make. I hope this helps in your journey to customizing your page! The walkthrough features my most popular HTML code that has long surpassed my previous record holder (incidentally, also from the same coding event a year prior). I hope this helps! ^^
- I also haven't forgotten about making a character page version to my popular CSS code to finally close the gap to fully customize your page to the nostalgic classic DeviantArt look. While I also want to make a world version of the character, I feel like that would require to be involved in a pretty large world to fully take in all the available features that world pages have. That project will definitely be shelved for a different time.
- Speaking about DeviantArt, I will be discontinuing the "Project DA" world. Over the past year, I've had some requests to join, but with the lack of activity on my part has led me to horribly neglect that "project". It appears that most users are entirely satisfied with the base look that the CSS brings. I figured I'll just leave things be and perhaps introduce smaller thematic changes like the small Christmas look that I introduced shortly after the launch of the CSS. Thank you to those who decided join the world and sorry it didn't go anywhere.
Heyo! How has everyone been doing? It's been a while since I hopped on this account to post something. ^^
Anywho, I'm looking for some help. I'm currently working on my very first CSS theme that I'll post publically. However, I run into a bit of an issue in regards to the Library and WorldsΒ pages since I haven't really done much of either. If you (or anyone you know) happen to have written several literature pieces or have joined in a bunch of worlds, please drop a comment so I can properly code those pages? I want to make sure the new skin works well for everyone, and that requires having references.
Many thanks and I wish you all an amazing day. x3
