God's Torch

The gods wanted to know who was stronger, so they made a contest. They gave part of their power to a mortal, and made them fight each other. Whoever came out on top was declared the winner. The God was considered the strongest, and the human would have any wish of them fulfilled.

This story takes place in an alternate universe, where none of the gods are dead or out of comission, and where Earth is the same as our own. It focuses mostly on fights between the characters involved, though it also has character development and such.
