I am a loser amateur hobbyist who enjoys dumb, eccentric characters. I especially love narcissists, jerks, manchildren, losers, and villains. Most of my drawings and 'Literature' are from the D&D campaign I'm in. I REALLY LIKE DARK HUMOR, SO SORRY IF I OFFEND YOU. Favorite Franchises: Fire Emblem (Longtime fan. Thracia 776 and Binding Blade are my favorites), Ace Attorney, 'When They Cry' Series, Golden Sun, Tales Series (especially Abyss). ♦ Art Fight: An Art Trade game I participate in every July. ♦ YouTube: Animatics. ♦ Blank Character Spreadsheets: Because I love spreadsheets and want to share them with the world (I especially love the Interactive Timeline: both complex and simple). Feel free to Make a Copy and use. I don't need credit. ♦ Carrd: Just if you want my interests...? |

Oh, I should just state this for my own memory's sake:
My tablet broke, as of Monday. :( I wasn't a big fan of it anyway (it was a screen tablet, but I learned I didn't like using a screen, so it was a glorified WIRED basic tablet instead). It lasted less than a year, but it did break from it sliding off my bed and onto soft carpet, so while I think that was a pretty pathetic way to go, I was at fault. (The inside port got bent when hitting the ground, since it was still plugged in at the time.)
I am tablet-less until Friday (unless Amazon Free Shipping comes earlier).
Short for Dungeons & Dragons, a popular roleplay game where you make characters with stats (KIND OF like a video game) and you roll dice to determine if they succeed or not, adding their stats to the rolls (so someone with high stats is more likely to succeed than someone with low stats). But unlike a video game, it's all done by the people playing together, allowing for a LOT more customization.
A campaign is just what one calls the PARTICULAR story as a whole. So going along with the 'video game' metaphor, it'd be like a full game with a complete plot: the Ace Attorney trilogy, Danganronpa 2, Pokemon Sapphire,, etc. Campaigns can be anywhere from just a few sessions (if it's a small plot), to... well, the one Zane is in has had 81 sessions (aka, we have met 81 different times for a few hours) and we're still not even halfway done. BIIIIIIIG CAMPAIGN. I've been in it for three years already.
Winning could be all sorts of things, though I guess normally it's defeating some big bad guy who's causing problems, but you deal with little problems along the way, like any other RPG, along with levelling up or collecting items so you're strong enough to beat the scary bad guy at the end.
But really, winning could be anything. In another super small campaign, the goal was to literally find an apple pie recipe (though we did fight some creatures on our way there).
Yeah, I heard she's been getting attention recently; some of my Ace Attorney friends have been talking about it.
I've been a fan before then too. Heck, I was already a fan when the first DS game came out. I even used to run a community for it, back when Google+ was a thing (and basically all my Ace Attorney buds originated from that community).
I also have a few characters with punny names.
"Zane E. Lune" is "Zany Loon."
"Judge [Deems] Mendel" is "Judgemental."
"Idunn O'Mann" is "I dunno', man."
"September Elle Eventh" is... uh... "September Eleventh." :|
Ace Attorney has left a big impression on me.
