so everyone've heard of the new installment of the "dA fucked up" saga. So I am leaving, I can't handle this shit anymore. Th is now my main platform, but also follow me on twitter or tumblr wink wink.
It's just honestly so baffling. With twitter going to shit dA had every opportunity to take back its title as THE art platform, but nooooo that'd be too easy.
if anyone else reading this decides to leave dA as well and delete their acc, remember: you have to delete all of your posts first, as they're not actually gone once you delete your account.
Yeah I left after they started protecting/supporting NFTs but now this? fucking disgusted, I was gonna let my account just lay dormant but wow.. time to delete a LOT of art

Well kinda, so i honestly misread something on the Safeguard journal entry (thinking that they meant that they would protect NFTs, what they meant is that they will protect art from being stolen and be made into a NFT), BUT you can link your NFTs on posts, which reads to me as "we support NFTs on this website", I guess they never explicitly stated it but the fact of including NFTs in general is UHM not great

I haven't been on dA for years, so if you don't mind me asking — what exactly happened?
I've heard a few other people talking about leaving dA but not exactly what happened, and almost all of them sound pissed so I'm just curious as to what exactly went on to make do many users want to leave the perform.
