Hihi, it's been a little while since the last newsletter! The species is slowing down, and there will be an announcement related to this
at the end of the bulletin. I hope everyone is having a good start to the Holiday season + Winter break ( ´ ∀ `)ノ～ ♡

At the moment of publishing this newsletter, winter guest artist applications are open!
This time we are searching for 4 GAs, and the designs will have a winter theme.

For this month's art prompt, you must draw someone else's Popunemytmi as a gift! It's recommended that you share your Popun in the #draw-this-popun channel in our Discord server, and you can find Popuns to draw there as well.

Rules/Info:

All art must be SFW.
It must related to the prompt (not your own Popun).
Your work should at least be lined, colored, and with simple shading
(no background required) - at least a bust/headshot drawing.
Mytmi form is allowed!
Can make up to 3 entries.
Your drawing can be Holiday themed, but it isn't a requirement

As mentioned before, the Popunemytmi species is slowing down. In 2023, the species will officially come to an end,
which means that it will no longer be active; there will be no more events, newsletters, or adopts, and it will become an open species.

Helo! I thought it would be right to give an explanation as to why the species is closing down ^^ please know that it's not out of hate but to improve my mental health.
I've been working on this species for a year, working on events, adopts, and the masterlist; so I think its time for me to move on as it's going to be my second year; I generally became disinterested in closed species; and unable to work on the species as I used to. I want to do more projects and not be tied to the "Popun owner" title forever, and since the event in July, I cannot look at the species the same, as it has worsened my depression and paranoia. Hopefully, you all understand where I'm coming from. ^^

It was wonderful working on this species, as it was my first time being a CS owner. This project not only helped me improve on my art, it also helped me have the confidence to talk to others - online and irl. I got to meet so many great people in this server, multiple people who dm me support and love, regulars in the server and the moderation team, and affiliates.
I'd also like to thank, noicun/Mewruse the creator of Popuns, for giving my the chance to own this species; tho idk where you are now lol thank you so much :]

I will now be working on my real life and new projects. Again thank you so much for supporting this species; I'm forever grateful.

The species will now be an open species, ~~and officially closing the server on Jan 8th, the anniversary~~ ^^ so sorry for the saddening news, but I think that it's for the best - ryu241

hello!! i currently own a common slot but i had a few questions - if the species is now open are we free to create mutated now or will there be something to be done first on your end? ;v; i just wanted to know since i'd love to make an AU of my oc! i will wait if we have to for another announcement ofc, just curious!! <333 also good luck with your future endeavours elote, i know CS is very stressful to run and sometimes you just gotta say goodbye to it! i prefer open species myself haha

I'm not too active in CS, so I can't imagine the stress of being the owner of such a popular one. Online cultures can be difficult to be in and difficult to manage, so I totally understand needing to step back. Wishing you the best!!
