I am pleased to update with the fact that in two weeks we have pulled in 18 lovely writers with 20 active characters and a few more in their development stage. This community has already pushed out over 100 in character posts and the count just keeps climbing day by day. Just recently the magic mechanic was released with a little mini event and I won't lie, some of these threads are absolutely hilarious!

ERPG officially launched beta opening on 2/16/23. I created this place to provide equine writers a place to literally let loose and play out all those unplayable plots, visions, magics, designs, and so on that are often restricted. Here I have laid out very bare basics and simple tools for you to use and build to your heart's content! Truly I mean that. There is no lore, no history, no magic, no design, no plot, etc. that will be turned down here; HAVE SOME FUN!

My dream is to see everyone capable of fully developing their character(s)!

If you’ve been watching and you’re still on the fence let me try to entice you a little more:

• Our rules cover “don’t be a dick” and nothing else. No weird specific things hidden in there.
• Writing is at YOUR pace and preferred effort. You will never be required to keep an activity level for any specific reason. Additionally we have no word count or expectations for post lengths other than discouraging one to two sentence posts (aka rapid fire).
• There is an all welcoming concept that means all threads are open for everyone. No private writing, no getting left out in the dark because you aren’t a social butterfly with buddies.
• Character profiles consist of stats and the appearance section must, at bare minimum, address the key features of a character. Free to use bullet points or whatever else; no specific requirements for word count or length it can be a hot mess of dropped information if you want.
• This is a non consent game so actions = consequences. Characters may act/react to their true nature at any point in time with our simple suggest, confront, do system.
• Dice are used for everything; you get immediate results.
• There isn’t really lore here unless you make some and add it to the wiki but lore isn’t a core part of the game so you don’t actually have to read anything or know anything about the afterlife.
• Don't be intimidated by the fact that the setting is "after death". This place is flexible. History is flexible. Your character could be living multiple lives and just in this one they died or whatever creative way you decide to do it. All role play games are unique alternate universes, ERPG is no different.

!!!> Sometimes we would prefer to feel out a community before joining it and that is completely fine! We do offer lurker roles on Discord for up to 30 days but we must verify your age before you can access this role (we are an 18+ community and there is no bot that will do this for us, so we have to do it manually). Alternatively you can just create a member account on our website and link your discord, no pressure to actually write immediately (or ever). Your account will always remain on site for when you’re ready.
