scared of aging
How old are u
its officially less than 24 hours left of being 15 (its midnight right now) and im kind of upset
Liek logistically im fine with turning 16 and maybe i even want to... idk like i guess it means ill be able to drive soon and other stuff thats cool,
but like on the other hanf emotionally i want to stay 15 forever and i think of all the people who have accomplished more than me and are 13, 14, even if theyre LITERALLY 15 (like me for the next day) but theyre a couple months younger than me... its sooooooo stupid but it eats away at me because i have no motivation or drive to work towards my goals or do anything really. I feel like im wasting away because all i do is literally sit and do nothing important (which is why i have 34 missing assignments right now and SIMPLE commissions even though i promised theyd be done a day ago...

You’re actually so right for this!! I’m 16.5 now and honestly yeah! There will always, always be people more and less accomplished than any given person on the Earth in at least some field. You could be the richest person out there and I’d bet there’s someone who could. I don’t know, do yo-yo tricks better than you.
If I’m being totally honest though, as you get older all of that will fade a bit. The self-comparison will still be there, but as time moves, you’ll mature a bit in how you see the world. I assure you, turning 16 is a big point in life in terms of responsibilities, and you’re doing great already. If you wanna get really technical, I’d say you’re much more accomplished than myself! You’re doing great for your time. Though possibly I’d like to recommend doing those assignments 😭😭 (occupational hazard: keeping your GPA up if you plan to go to college)
Anyways, if I may be so bold, I’d say maybe take a break! Doesn’t have to be extended or anything, but take some time for yourself to do something you really enjoy. Now you may be thinking, “toyhouse user tens, what do you MEAN!!” so hear me out! Genuinely I have spent the past almost six months stalling on some of my commissions. It’s been almost a year for some other ones on a certain game. Seriously! I am not kidding. But, whenever I take even like. A one day break it always helps me get some of my motivation back! So that is the best advice I have for you.

Honestly I'd say just try not to think about it too hard. Everyone has their own pace and it's best not to compare and contrast yourself to others. There will always be time for improvement and when you learn to just not compare yourself it makes things a lot easier, and I mean if all else fails you can even style study those that inspire you! :3 happy early birthday, I hope it will treat you well!

I literally feel the exact same as you 😭. I’m turning 17 in a couple of days and I feel like I just sit around and do nothing while all these young teens are doing amazing things!??!??!! Like I don’t really wanna grow up lol but I don’t have a choice 🤡
