hmm? Our actions in Crysanthanum often have sway on important events in history. However, not every outcome will be known, nor will they be predictable. We do our best to have our sway in fate.

Well specifically, we are specialists in preventing the 'Bad Endings' kind of fates. Nobody wants to live in a universe which has a horrible fate. We...try to prevent that.

That's a...strange topic. I've read much mythologies about fate and selfsame lots of philosophical concepts about fate and its constructs. I still struggle to find my belief: Do we live in an indeterminate universe? Is everything we do sealed? 
Is it sealed for a good reason?

Again, I still feel like that this might just be another mortal 'arbitrary designated line which tries to describe something out of thin air' kind of phenomena. It's like Wolfdragons describing colors to a Mountain Dragon. Very fickle in the end.

I think Thermonuclear Detogon is so hecking scary. He's one of the Devons. One touch of him can make an entire city conflagerate. It's like the condensed fist of the sun. And he answers nobody but Farsighter. Taking h is words sometimes too literally ToT. I've butted heads with him in the past...albiet unintentionally. It was AWFUL.

Era is probably the least scariest. He's a lil wholesome pupper... Also a Devon.

least scary would probably be those faes who want the universe to be wiped clean of any non-dragon shaped thing. They are goofy and small.

The rules of this centerpiece have failed us. Its ruling hand leaning towards the binary. The extreme. The nonexistent. In their darkness they are veiled & in sunlight they deceit. Unentitling angels. Scaring us mortals. Leaving us to the bare minimum; the rules of mother nature. Her elements already in dissaray. Embodied and fighting. Strifing naught as physics but as nations and empires. Fire, Metal, Lightning, Ice. Feral, wild. Natural intentions betraying their purpose. So we question the fragile reality in advent of the laws of nature.  

Leaving us to look within us for answer. An answer I see as one of hope and welldoing. especially between me and my portalbat. A trust in my intuition and that of my friends. A compass only we understand.

And its CRISIS affects ME. Stockades, Blockads stopping banans. Treelands deserted as the spectrums FIGHT eachother. Lifecows wrested from palms of dragon. yogurt gone for MONTHS ughy. I see faes, and flies, and Queens, rummage through it all. BITING through my snacks,,, but not eating it. Belittling it until it's a number. Belittling ME in the process!! Locking it away from ME. us. I look at my paws again and question if THIS it's what it's meant to be. Kings and faes. Flies and sludge. Sifting their dirty palms through oasis and dough. turning gold into detritus. Reducing food into nothing but an information a NUMBERS IN A BOOK. I try to think of other worlds. Other places where... //salivates ... Banans might exist... and lifecows (the plants we get milk from ;w;) are exist too... But then I remember

THAT This is the same look they make. The grotesque look as their eyes scan the skies. Looking for diamonds in the ROUGHS. Ready to peel away the thicket of forests, of banana peel, and the foodmeat, and everything inbetween. unmaking yoghurt. AND EVERYTHING INBETWEEN. its unmaking so harsh that it's blazing like the light of a CANDIE CANDLE= for one drop of unobtainium. I SEE THAT LOOK and I don't want to be one of them HUPH.

And so as the dust settles, and I'm counting the finite beans upon my palms. I ask myself if all of that was really worth it. Something so abstract that it falters world spirits, and the Centerpiece. And the Crysanthanum, and the Deer-Dragons. I wrote a book once. a fantasy. I looked at prompts and it was pretty. "make the perfect laws for your world" it said. and so I sat an thought through my lil opal noggin. In the name of Vera I feel clairvoyant as t he ideas touch paper. But at the end of the day the book is stored on a shelf. A shelf which is dustied and clearly ravaged by time. I know not of what timeline of which my writings will be whisked through. But the elements do scare me. Like the ink I write, which dries and fades unevenly. I feel it happens just like that... Centerpiece after centerpiece slowly loose that kindle, that first penstrike upon paper. "Opal has the best idea", gets reduced to "Has Idea" interspersed with mysterious spacing. Followed that with the little declination I make, when I wholly in this context proclaim that only I am the perfect one to enact that LAW in my headworld. Oh so it's then written.

I revisit this sometime in the future. kobolds have heard of my ramblings. they've sung my tune and some have taken idol to my idea. I feel troubled. I feel the way Vera did. What idea is it in the end that the finite focus a mortal and an angel can make? they shine the light, but all that the light reaches is but a figment of the universe of my words. Ofcourse the kobolds have only read the first page, never considering there's a page after. I frown that I've kept my most obscene ideas on the first page. a little magna carta comedy of I belittling everything silly in a silly way. The first page was meant like an antonym of what I'd write in the headworld. But sadly the kobolds have enacted it law.

and thus I quit that roleplay session.

ITS DONE ME NO GOOD. NO GOOD FOR WHAT RULES AND LAWS HAVE IMPOSED US. It brings us only suffering and torture. the laws came one by one. First from Tpaz and then from Biblos. and then from Valley of Mines, and then from Shorva. Each of those nations once allied good falling one by one. as I watch in disbelief; the Elechtonian Alliance vaporising before my eyes. I think the gaze was the same I had with my partner in crime, a turquoise cat. I remember when the likes of the Xinda family held allegience and were voted into the house of rats and mice. my tummy fell to my mousetrap. They truly abide by the rules, but the rules betrayed them back.

They looked at air and called it merciful. They point at clouds and say that clouds would never betray.

Yet they do not know that the elements no longer serve nature. That logic leaves tyrants who tunnel with intention. The Tempest's greed. Dissolving Myssimo piece by piece. Where we were once everywhere were we scuttled till all but Liliput. I remember it so well.

It took Mousey Tots to betray the world spirit to come back and get us on track. dunno for the worse or better. Shall the Xinda have ruled over us would the same fate that befell Myssimo happen to us all.

No I do NOT follow rules. None but that of Mousey. But here we are. In this holdout which is about the size of a huge library. All of us Micedragons. Pretty much bastioned to that.

I'm okay with Rules and laws on the event my team... sniff. would truly agree for it. 

Us angels do have a good time wrapping around the different constructs and laws of natures in the universe. Of the affinities and elements and all such. But.. what confounds me...well us one of the mostest are these conceived concepts of Mortals as they roleplay elements of nature as they try to say they can make this rule or that rule... It's like if Catawounce's mortal believers suddenly tried to explain how water should work in their domain!!. It just doesn't make a lot of sense!! I don't know it's a very interesting but strange observation., Mortals creating their own physics and all, naming it 'law'.

I usually go along with it if my team gives the 'ok'. I don't really know why it be like that. But to see mortals 'fall into place' when they walk the outskirts of a law is interesting. Imagine if positrons (uh- I meant electrons) listened to some arbitrary limit some mortal decides to set. the entire universe would vanish

For the most part, I've typically dwelled outside of this so called rules and laws playbook. It's pretty standard for my old team. Skirting outside of it and so called so. This law, these sets of rules, are nothing but rumblings to me. ne'er was I taught the full extent of it. An it irks me that it changes past every arbitrary set border u cross around the world. Everything suddenly changing rightside up, inside in. Sort of whip-lashing you back and forth until you finally ask yourself - which one is the rightest, which one should I follow. I guess the question itself is mildly beyond the metaphysical as I insofar my ruminations glean. Something supposedly us angels are masters at, the abstract. But it's all words in the end from what I've asked Rosethorne to tell. Something something. A tenet, more tenets, and then they just keep feeding you tenets and tenets and tenets. Some discipline among the way, some more tenets, some cautions. At some point you wonder if this is too much for mortals. I know when they fumble, and it's understandably so (although sometimes kinda awkward seeing one trip over words), we all change through time. And like I told MYSELF. I don't trust me or others selfsame rules to stay consistent or constant. There's too much intersections, inversions, paradoxes which arises from words, and negations. At some point I think it's best if I bin it.

I would like to live in a star system which contains 7 stars. Hear me out. One is Orange, another is less orange, and then I want another star to be white, and I want a star which is pink, and then I want the final two stars to be violet with one being a lighter shade!!! I WOULD SUNBATHE.

We don't often get authorized to travel back in time. Usually in order to minimize the possibilities of nasty paradoxes from occuring.

The Devons do it all the time to fight calamities. And... It gets very very interesting. Maybe all is an overstatement, but eitherway.

In fact. It's the Modus Operandi of being part of Crysanthanum. To Fight Calamities before it materializes. So how do we do this? usually. We get assigned missions. Missions to meet Calamities right at their flashpoint!!

Is someone about to invent a weapon that will instantly detonate our world? Flashpoint, we get sent to a flashpoint? Is something very very nasty about to happen to a bunch of innocents which will devolve into a worldwide conflict? again we wait at the flashpoint and fight it head on!!

For us. We are more of an uh.. Scouting team. We hide under the guise of shadows and try to prospect stuff from afar. We try not to engage in conflicts but-

Sometimes I think of Bygonia. Like, what would happen if I went back,, and prevented all of my kin from perishing...
But then I remember that the source of Actinium is limited in this universe. Had the painful event not transpired, we would've all perished within a week.

I know Teora thinks the same about the Crystal Empire of Vera sometimes, and it stresses him as well...especially the crystal city. Fighting off the Air, Fire, Metal empire all at once is a pretty herculean task. I don't think it would be permitted either way as all Crysanths would cease to exist.
