I got a cricut explore air 2 from someone local for like half the price it normally costs and I'm wondering if anyone has tips or tricks!

I'm wanting to do mostly stickers to start c:

I have the maker 3! For stickers I print on sticker paper and I'd recommend using a clear laminate to put on top so the stickers are more waterproof. Be sure to cut the laminate to cover just the area the designs are in so the machine can read the black lines. You'll want to do print to cut and the program will send the designs to your printer. The laminate I use is the duck brand clear laminate and you can get it from Walmart. If you have questions feel free to let me know!

That's a great idea! I was wondering why my tests with the laminate for my frog pie stickers kept coming out with the cut way off, i had the laminate over the identifying markers XD

For some reason it's still messing up, how far away from the edge should the actual sticker designs be? Maybe I'm getting it too close

Hmm, the program should align everything for you and it uses the registration lines to align itself. Make sure the registration lines are visible and not covered. If you're still running into trouble try callibrating the machine

The machine is freshly callibrated, I managed to fix it slightly by using matte tape over the registration marks if the laminate hit the corners haha

Hm alright I'm glad you seemed to find a workaround! Typically it may mess up if there's laminate or anything that's too close to the registration marks so just be careful of that

Definitely learned that too glitter sticker paper and laminate does not work well together haha XD
