Hello, everyone.

I… apologize, for my somber tone, but this is the last interview I have to share. You’ll notice I haven’t made any huge breakthrough, I’m sure, and I figure you all deserve at least my attempt to admit it up front, now:

I’ve got nothing.

None of the leads told me much of anything. Any further groundwork I’ve done this month hasn’t resulted in much either. I’m… really sorry to have let you all down.

I was hopeful that by the time I ran through all my recorded footage there would’ve been something, but it’s mostly been more of the same. While I’m sure watching me blunder through interviews is entertaining for some of you, I don’t want to keep wasting people’s time. I’m still trying, but… I can’t keep writing up news reports about nothing.

The recording’s ready, so I’ll share it, but that may be the last hurrah for my attempts at journalism. I won’t vanish prematurely, though- there’s still one last Sunday to come this month, so… at the very least, I’ll make one more appearance to bid you all a proper goodbye.

This one… honestly, I was just glad to make it home in one piece after all that. Maybe take it as a life lesson not to follow directions from a talking dog.

That was… is scary too overused? Hair-raising? Life-flashing-before-my-eyes…ing? I dunno. All I know is I thought that surely Dandelion’s humble little search was about to turn into found footage. A reporter gone missing on the hunt for the truth… it’d make a good movie at least.

Seems like everything this week is pret-ty elusive. Keep your eyes peeled, migfriends. And if you missed any of the rarities from last week, there might be something that could help you make up the difference floatin’ around somewhere…

WEEK 4 PROMPT

Things kinda feel a little bleak, don’t they? Dandy’s all but given up, it’s a shame… here’s hoping she can get some good rest after all of this, at least.
For ease of interpretation this year, our anniversary prompts are going to be less of a question and more of a word - that is, these will all be one word that you can interpret however you like!
The word you will be interpreting for this weeks prompt is…

“DEAD END”

There’s… not really that much to do, anymore. Dandelion’s out of leads- and if Hacksaw had any, I doubt she would’ve wanted to follow them in the first place. Just a big ol’ ‘DO NOT ENTER’ sign over her story, before it could even get started in the first place.
Has your Mignyan ever been at this point with something? Something’s just stopped them in their tracks? Maybe it’s a literal dead end, or maybe they lost leads like Dandy here did… or hey, maybe they’re trying to subvert that dead end and investigate themselves? There can’t just be nothing out there, right?
(Note that this prompt does not have to relate to the event itself if you don’t want it to! You can depict something completely unrelated to Dandelion’s interviews if you so wish.)
