thats what im saying !! i did like two or three liminal space inspired designs a couple of months back so seeing it boom back to popularity is making me want to go back into designig liminal monsters again

I appreciate it! I think I made it back when the liminal space design trends were starting and I wanted to make one too, but the amount of them now is a little overwhelming lol

There was one very popular poolrooms design by qxtten that went for about 1.5k? in a bidding auction, so people decided to make more to jump on the bandwagon and hopefully get more bids/offers on the design… They also made another backrooms inspired design baded on the hello kitty room that went for 2k+ ! so it is quite in demand !

I’m not sure if qxtten was the one that started the black head/slit eyes/”room” body trend, but I’ve definitely seen a lot of designs that look near identical to their take on personified liminal spaces

Trend I guess personally I'm not tired of the concept itself esp since I was creating a liminal universe before this started and I love the backrooms I just wish they weren't in the same copy and pasted format which does get a bit overboard there's so many other original formats people can create for the poolrooms, liminal spaces, or the backrooms in general

I wish there were more variations of the poolrooms designs + backrooms in general, its such a cool concept and so much could be done with it
also I guess it doesnt help that theyre being made all at once JSHYDG im seeing them everywhere

Truthfully, this was such an eye opener to me esp with customs bc what I want to do with new liminal ocs I get custom wise is mix in my interests with a touch of liminal, it makes it more personal and not just something for money or a copy bc the liminal universe is so cool and expansive in itself I feel like it deserves more than just the casual shadow faced monster with an inner tube
