Character Adopt Interest Check

Exoclipse character adopts? (Pls read desc first!)

21 Votes I'm interested!
0 Votes I'm not interested!

Heyyyyyy guys. I've been curious for a while if there would be any interest if I made character adopts to sell? I barely make time to feed myself and sleep while I have assignments to work on, so they would likely be sparse. But I've been toying with the idea and want to know if I should even bother.

Here are some things to consider:

- They'd be more on the simple side. I was gonna give an example but I kinda don't have any simple designs so just trust me bro. Might accidentally make them too complicated anyway because I have issues.
- They'd be fully conceptualized original designs. No bases, species, preexisting IPs, or other shenanigans (no hate if that's your thing btw, that's just not how I roll).
- Likely would be majority humanoid and creature designs. Sorry anthro fans 😔
- I'd primarily want USD as payment. Though I might accept art sometimes if you can convince me. I will never accept characters as payment.

Questions for ppl interested:

- Do you prefer auction style adopts or flat sales?
- What kind of designs would you like to see from me? Do you prefer my humans designs or creature designs? Any specific vibes, historical eras, genres, character types or animals? IDK you tell me.
- What is a design of mine that already exists that you would buy off of me if you could? (This is hypothetically speaking, so it can be any design of mine)
- What's the lowest and highest you'd be willing to pay for a typical design of mine? Just a general idea.
- Would you tell other people about my adopts if I asked nicely? 🥺

Ok that's it for now I can't think of anything else at the moment.

Both, both is good. Gives a fair chance to all.

Lordt almighty, your monster designs are amazing! I'd love to see anything! Especially humanoid-monster hybrids! I also am a sucker for D&D-vibe adopts

I'll pay until it's reaches 1k but I mainly would stay around the $1-99 range

YES ABSOLFUCKINGLUTEY  YES YES Y E S Y ES

Flat sales feel better for a buyer (it sucks to put out everything you've got and have someone "ninja" you) but I feel like you should start with auctions to judge your audience desire meter.

Hot boy monster hunter vibes and BIRDs and colorful traditional clothing, mmm.

Uuuuuuuh, probably a lot (most) of them. You know who I like.

The lowest? Free, obvi. Teehee, nah, lower than $10 is an insult. It's also probably an insult to do less than $50, depending on the design. If I went much more over $80 I'd probably get buyer's remorse, even though I know how much it takes to make your designs. It's not you, it's me

No, but I would if you asked meanly

I WOULD BE SO BEHIND THIS ON GOD

Lemme

I'll edit with answers i don't have yet (Links to characters and stuff)

1: I prefer Flatsales but that is entirely because I don't have enough money to actually win an auction type things rn.

2a: Honestly the only things I dont like are anthros and you ain't planning on doing those anyway 😎 (No hate just not my thing)

2b: Im behind every vibe ever, like literally. However I tend to stray towards cottagcore, retro, historical & fantasy (also silly goofy guys shhhhhh)

3: Edit: OK im back

4: UUUYHHHHHHH SO MUCH MONEY IF I HAD IT. Thinking logically, I'd say 15-30 for like simple ones and like 30-60(?) for more complex ones. But I'd literally pay you like a million dollars if I had it.

5: YES RAAAAAAAAA /pos

YESSSSS I‘D LOVE IF YOU MADE ADOPTS AHH

ahem

I prefer flat sale adopts, but you could probably throw in an auction every once in a while if you make something that’s really banger, and that you think would do well

Humans, humanoids and creatures all sound great to me!! Not super picky on themes and stuff so I’d be interested to see whatever you make :]

Heres some designs of yours that are the types of designs I’d be interested in buying:
Aster, Leon, maybe not gubble bum specifically but Im a fan of Silly Little Guys, Nyra, Uther, Zeht, Jagger, Beck

For pricing, lowest I’d say 25-30 (maybe 15 for silly guys), highest 50-60, but that’s mainly because I don’t have a stable income yet, I’m sure other, more established adopt-buyers would love to pay you even higher than that lol

And yes I would tell other people about your adopts :]]
