I have one wish. If I drew something for you, or you drew something for me, especially Lilith. Do me a favor. Don't post it on Tumblr. You can post it with credit whereever you want. but please, not Tumblr-

The reason for this is, I was in the self ship community of Tumblr for half a year and they almost made me do things I would regret. I got cancelled big time. And since my most known OC was Lilith over there and I'm scared they will follow me on here or my other social media, I wish that my art and my ocs stay off this website. Thank you for your attention. have a nice day..

People still use Tumblr? I thought it basically died after the big adult art purge. XD

thankies. I'm just glad I'm outta there. I mean- people were mean to me because I "stole" Dante from them. Looking back, it was the right decision to leave this place for good. I'm just glad to be here now, til now, Toyhouse was a wonderful place for me :o

It's a pretty long story. But to tell the most important points: I got into a drama, which lasted around 4 months with somebody because we had the same fictional character as a crush, and then he copied all my posts and everything I did. I got into drama with somebody for "stealing their crush" (also a fictional character), the next week my inbox was filled with anon hate and death wishes. I got cancelled later for having a different opinion then somebody being trans, and for using a japanese name for one of my sonas. The cancel thing was also the one when I left the site for a long time. I have an account still there, but I only use it to look at art. I make a huge bow around the self ship community, because it makes me sick to see all this fake positivity over there.

That's pretty extreme :O tumblr is really brutal. That being said I'm not sure what a "different opinion" on someone being trans means?

Well. The person said "All fictional man are gay, don't @ me <3". And so, I tried to be diplomatic, telling them that their opinion is valid, but they shouldn't force this headcanon onto everyone, since some people have a crush who's their opposite gender. On the other hand, nobody should enforce headcanons onto trans people's crushes. But guess this was a big mistake, suddenly everybody told me that me, a cis woman, tried to make everything revolve around me. I got so many hate messages, one of them said, for example, "choke". Just "choke".

Ahh, I've usually seen that statement played as a joke! There's so little representation in mainstream media that "all x is y" tends to be sort of a way of dealing with it, it's usually not meant literally / something to be forced onto others.

Sending death threats is still wrong, though, and I'm sorry that happened.

I wish I knew that earlier. Thanks to my aspergers, I take things too literally sometimes. But guess they didn't want to understand that.

Oh that does sound scary..thankfully i was never into tumblr cause of people like that. I only have toyhouse, so all should be good. Glad you told us this though!

Be thankful, be very thankful. I've never seen a social media as toxic as Tumblr, it's insane.

I mean ive heard crazy stuff happened there, also before i stopped being active on twitter apparently most tumblr people moved on there which made twitter just as toxic apparently

I think the incident with rose quartz fanart happened on tumbkr but can't remember for sure so i was like "yeah no, tumblr is just horrible"

I saw that there's the same community on Twitter now which was also on Tumblr, which scares me as well, but luckily, Twitter is a tiny bit bigger, so I can avoid the tumblr stuff better.
And ye, I think it happened on there. The reason I got on Tumblr in the first place was because one of my best friends back then introduced me to it, and when I saw the self-ship community, it was a dream come true. Except that dream was a nightmare.
