ppsst...! I all ways wondered what kind of adopt do u think is worth it? I kept opting for more unique shapes/designs with not too many patterns because I feel like it won't be as fun if I make the coloring super complex

Whuddya guys prefer? Simpler coloring patterns or very detailed stuff? (U can send imgs/show off ur ocs u like!)

Just kept thinkin abt it bcz me personally even though I loooove the look of something complex, I know I won't draw it if I owned it, prolly because I'm mostly an animator haha x]

I would love more of your fluffy dragons, or some flower/plant based creatures! I would love to see other species of animals like birds, reptiles, cats or bats 👀 you better ping meeee. Another theme I love is sweets or crisps/chips would be so cute. Fish are also a nice theme with their bright colours, you could make catfish adopts

I think simplicity is the best and can be more unique and memorable. Complex can be too much and overwhelming. Also you can make consistent adopts. I feel you could have the best design but it's the character's personality and body language that really matters

You're more likely going to have fun if it's simple with animation or drawing and ofc draw the character more

Oh in general it's a lot easier if you were to animate or draw. I have a few complex and I don't draw them as often and don't animate because it's too tricky. Simplicity usually attracts people

I always like the simpler ones, but I do have a few slightly more complex OCS. But mostly simple>> cause then drawing them is a pain 💀

I feel like some complex designs aren’t that bad when it comes to drawing but I still prefer to stay on the simpler side of things. Simpler characters can look really nice too, and don’t have to have a lot of ‘blank’ space.

I personally don't mind either! But I usually opt for more complex, as they're simply more fun for me to draw :]

UHHH I usually opt for simpler designs or designs where at least there's no hanging features where I have to guesstimate where they're at LMAO

I'm also an animator though so 🤷
