I quickly skimmed over it roughly an hour ago and refreshed to see the comments and now it's completely gone??

I just wondering if anyone happened to have read it because I found most of the answers understandable. I wanted to bookmark it for reference in some cases where people falsely calls things out where just some things require much more time to handle.

I remember seeing one of the original users (I know the name, but I think it's best to leave their name out) being upset about misinformation and wanted to read the comments because of that.

Nothing major or anything I guess, it's just odd that the post is gone.

If you did read it, I'm interested in your view on it! Again, I just skimmed and didn't read too deeply into it. (I'm pretty neutral on it, tbh)

From what I’ve read it wasn’t official, and mainly asked questions to admin why stuff works the way it does and such. Also others adding input. I think they took it down or if possible admin did?

I found a post later stating the interviewer took it down (from the interviewer)

Was interesting to read, hope they don't get in any trouble for posting it

I did not and sadly looks like no one has a chance to archive it before it was deleted :(

Re: sometime being banned wanting their data, or might also be part of how TH makes the site GDPR compliant because technically it would have to delete certain user data for closed accounts within a certain time frame

Yeah, though I don't blame the interviewer from taking it down after seeing a comment from them elsewhere.

That's a fair point, but the not started

Yeah it's just speculation.

Maybe TH needs to add a warning that users should keep a local backup of their content

I would appreciate that over disallowing it all together as well. By default on LK based sites, you can collect all files you uploaded. (As well as other art sites)

LK based sites?

TBF it would be great if users in general could download backups of profiles/images

Oh sorry, LK is short have for Lorekeeper

Honestly yes, would be great for transferring. Though I think I'm gonna back my non-trades on unvale regardless. Just to have my files in a second site. I would like to update pcs next year and I don't want to have to move all my files again jzfxgjhxi

(I'll likely just put them in a drive for safe keeping)

Woah no, was it posted on TH or somewhere else?

Wild - makes me wonder if it wasn't intended to be public on the part of the TH admin

Possibly! From what I remember there was a question about allowing people access to their files after a ban and admin stated loosely that "We used to have this, but people just used this to collect their stuff and make another account."

I think that's a bit of a bad take, because not allowing people access to their files doesn't stop that anyways. I also think it's punishes people for the bad actors.

I was really hoping for some good conversation on that topic, so it's sad to see it deleted so quickly.
