i’m feeling,, very not ok at the moment so i doodled these up in an attempt to feel better, and realized their YCH potential in the process

only taking 1-2 slots of each for now,, i will make edits but don’t give me complex characters please

tysm, i really appreciate it <3

i'm just having a lot of issues with mood swings lately, especially anger (not violent or anything, but i keep getting frustrated at the smallest things and that makes me even more upset with myself) paired with a ton of insecurity in my artwork

i struggle SO MUCH with drawing eyes now, even though they used to be my favorite thing to draw, and i'm scared that people won't want my art anymore if i change my style too much :( (hence why these YCHs are here, i'm kind of feeling out how people react to a newer eye style) it's making me genuinely anxious about doing owed art,, like what if i finish a drawing i'm really proud of and they tell me that it isn't what they wanted?? i LOVE doing art for other people, it makes me really happy, but i can't help but wonder if they're expecting my art to be as good as it was a year or so ago

i used to know how to shade, i used to know how to draw dynamic expressions, and i used to be comfortable in my style! it's scary not being able to do any of those anymore :(( i think i peaked here, here and here and i've only gone downhill from there

I totally understand that. I haven't drawn cats in a while so I'm kinda insecure about my style with that as well. Personally, I'll love your art no matter what, because the main thing is that you enjoy and have fun with it. Talk to people you owe art to and let them know that you're changing your style a bit!

With the irritation stuff I get it. Sometimes everything is just irritating and you don't know why. It's definitely frustrating, especially when you accidentally take it out on someone else. I like to ground myself by maybe peeling an orange, and paying attention to the smell and sound it makes! It works well with soda and other things like that.

Remember, your style is YOUR style. You can have multiple styles at once, and I promise I'll always support you no matter what <3
