Yeah, that chest is definitely is looking at you.  Any notion of self-preservation quickly goes out the window as you decide to ignore the warning signs, reaching out to the treasure chest that blocks your path.  As soon as your fingertips touch the wooden planks of the chest-

Eek!  You suddenly find yourself looking down certain doom, in the form of too many sharp teeth and eyes that are now definitely there.  You stumble back a few steps, losing your footing and finding yourself sitting back down on the path.  The chest blinks over at you, and it almost feels like they're just as startled as you are.  

"Oi!  What are you doing, disturbing a slumberin' creature like that?  Don't you know there's all sorts of beasties just waitin' to chomp your head off?"

The stunned look on your face probably says it all.  Turns out this chest is not the head-chomping beastie that they're speaking of.  Does that mean there's even scarier things out there than a chest who just suddenly come to life?  The woodgrain of the chest starts to shift, forming a pair of furrowed brows as the chest's groggy state dissipates, and they let out a gasp.

"Oh, you're not from around here, are you!  Hold on, let me just-"  There's a puff of smoke and you start to cough, using your hand to try and wave it away, when the same voice speaks up once more.

"Hi, I'm Mimi!"
