So, you wanna try your hand at doing guest adopts for any of the species housed here at Prisma Carnival? Well, here's the place to apply! We're always taking applications, although availability may be limited. Regardless, it's always good to have a nice list of applicants ready!

Rules for Applying

  You must be able to join the Group Discord Server (link on front page of group) as that's where any discussion about adopts will take place as well as where we keep track of who is doing what month and anything else pertinent to guest adopts.

  There are two options you can choose from as far as payment goes for your adopts. When filling out your application you must specify which one you'd prefer to do.

---   Option A: Split the pay 75/25 between you and the group (the 25 going to the group)

---   Option B: Split the pay 50/50 between you and the group, but you get a free Floralling or Lavalam MYO slot of your choice to use for yourself (species type and trait rarities will be discussed privately between you and the group admins). Standard MYO rules apply for this option.

  Minimum price you can charge for your adopts is $10 (or 1,000 DA points). Price should change depending on the type of rarity you're doing with your adopt.

  If you end up wanting to keep one of your adopts you may do so, but you will have to pay the group its part of the price (depending on the option you've chosen) OR use a previous MYO slot, if you have one available.

  You may use a base ONLY if it's one you made yourself specially for these adopts. You cannot use bases other people have made nor bases you've made in the past for other things.

  Once accepted you will be allowed to make up to 4 adopts in the month you are assigned for, either all in one batch or in multiple batches whichever you prefer.

---   For Florallings you cannot do any of the humanoid subspecies (such as Faeflora) unless you are given specific permission to do so. But you can add a florfauna if you wish, just make sure to increase the price of the adopt accordingly for having it added. Florfauna must be the same flower type as the adopt itself, as per the florfauna guidelines. 

---   For Lavalams you can use unlimited common traits, up to 2 uncommon traits, and up to 1 rare trait per adopt . Make sure to increase price according depending on traits used.

  When posting your adopts, you must credit Prismakry for the species. 

  All adopts must be approved by a group admin before being posted. Preferably this is done in the discord group, but you may privately show one of the group admins. You are encouraged to send WIPs as you work on them.

  Depending on the species the type of adopts you'll have to do is different.

---   Floralling adopts MUST be "mystery" adopts, where you only post the podling first and then show the hatched version after it's been bought. You may design the final adopt before or after the adopt is bought but you may not post it until it is bought.

---   For Lavalams you can post them as normal adopts, or do them as mystery adopts, whichever you prefer. 

  Guest artists will be limited to one a month per species (not including any possible extra adopts made by group admins). Slots and scheduling will be discussed in the discord server. This is to insure that all guest artists know what month they are doing and to make sure they have plenty of time in advance. 

--- Possible group batches (with one or multiple adopts made by different artists) will be scheduled by the group admins as they feel like it.

  When posting your adopts make sure to link to the Adopt and MYO T.O.S. (as well as add any specific rules of your own that aren't already listed in the TOS), credit Prismakry for the species, and link back to Prisma-Carnival! Also, as people can buy discount coupons with CT if they choose, please make note in your description if you'll accept these coupons or not. It is 100% fine if you do not want to, but please make sure to mention if you will or not so those looking to buy will know.

What We're Looking for in a Guest Artist

  A good understanding of color theory/matching colors together. 

  For Florallings, someone who can draw flowers well. For Lavalams, someone who is able to draw robotic/doll like features well. 

  An understanding of the species you are guesting for

  Experience selling adopts in the past, whether CS or not CS related.

  13 years of age or older, but 18+ is preferable (for those under 18 that are accepted, you can only sell your adopts for DA points, not cash.)

  Decent skill when it comes to drawing humanoids
