NEED HELP BOOSTING ADOPTS

Posted 1 year, 11 months ago by blackcoffee

ive had no offers on these adopts for months (except the newer one which as also gotten none, just for a week or so) and im really in need of money rn. i had no income for 5 weeks and once i got paid again, it was very little and all gone pretty much within one day. so im trying hard to sell adopts to no avial, which tbh, is pretty soulcrushing ^^ as is my complete lack of appeal to anyone on twitter

if someone could retweet this post for me i would so greatly appreciate it, and if you want to, you can comment some posts for me to promo for you in return, or ill just go pick one at random. thank you so much in advance <3

Furaffinity is the worst place I used to get attention, you can try DeviantArt or Ych and see but even then it’s a bit hard. Instagram you can try, twitter sucks as it isn’t really art friendly. There is many other art platforms you can try. I have been going around and Instagram and DeviantArt seems to be a better place for me! Also th too but you have to constantly repost to get offers, also do not price adopts right so high. Apparently many are having an issue with financial relations here in America because of the president being super ass that we may even head to another recession.

yeah furaffinity sucks, it was by far the worst for me too. i've done instagram but ended up stagnating around 50-70 followers forever and dont really bother anymore, it bothers me how all my images have to display square anyways cause i dont always draw square. deviantart is unusable for me at this point, so twitter and toyhouse are my best options rn.

also unfortunately all of the adopts you're looking at now took me 8 hours-3 days each, and i draw on a trackpad that makes me have to fake my pen pressure by manually erasing if i want it. im already charging under minimum wage for my art, a rate of less than 5 dollars an hour if you do the math. and i kind of doubt the problem is that when i still see everyone else able to sell for $60-$300 no problem. honestly, it kind of hurt my feelings to hear you say i should lower my prices. i'd recommend against suggesting that to people unless you know them well and know they'd be okay with it--no offense, just wanted to tell you because i know some people would get extremely aggressive with you about that instead of calm like i'm trying to be.
