OK the people have spoken

i'm holding a raffle for a low-poly model of your oc made from scratch!! ^_^ (the example oc pictured above isnt mine its from art fight. heres another one i did for art fight [respecting the designer's permissions by not posting it here! go look at it on art fight]). the winner will earn a free 3d model from me, including a model turnaround and the model files, and a preview video like this one for the model above, if you'd like !!

EDIT: I ALMOST FORGOT TO ADD AN END DATE SORRY. a winner will be picked on october 9th THANK U

here are some things to keep in mind:

it will be made in blender
it will be low-poly. think early DS/DSi/3DS/playstation/nin64 game models
i will sculpt it to your preferences (flat/smooth/no shading, stylized proportions, etc.), otherwise ill default to my own style
i'm comfortable working with any kinds of character, although i have the most experience with humanoids
i will not give you a half-assed result, but please keep in mind i don't know the optimized way of doing things in blender yet, i am still learning!
i'm up for the challenge of learning something new such as complex rigging, or the process of exporting for vrchat or vtubing, if the winner is interested
basically just be prepared to be a little patient with me LMAO. keep in mind also that i will be working on the winner's model inbetween my current commissions
winner should be comfy giving me their discord so i can communicate details easier than TH dms

As for my favorite game, Jak and Daxter owns my soul. I remember having the biggest gender envy with Jak and had a crush on Keira 😔✌🏻 I also just loved the world, and that has definitely influenced my love for certain ocs and world building.

Yes darksouls is golden 😭 have yet to experience elden ring but its on my list!

And Tribal hunter is way better made than I could have imagined for what it is catered towards 🤣 Looks like love really went into the game and even includes hidden easter eggs, swear I'm not on the promotional team!

(I LOVE DARKEST DUNGEON!!!!! i havent reached the mansion yet its so hard HFKJSHD but the art direction of that game is so inspiring and im a little obsessed with how scary/stressful/horrific it is without relying on like, jumpscares etc. or even being a horror game at all)

If we talk about games with 3D models, one of my personal favorites was Mysterious Times/Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardy. It was... wanky, but so fun to play. The designs were cute and it was fun to mess with spells and special events! I also like Rule of Rose and Fragile Dreams quite a lot because of the storytelling and eerie vibes... I'm more into indie horror RPGMs now, though (Cell of Empireo, END ROLL, Witch's Heart and so on). I'd love to know about your faves TvT

Faved more than three characters because they're AMAZING, but take Peter, Paradox and Jack for reference!

(also I'VE HEARD OF RULE OF ROSE!! its actually on my list of games i really want to play at some point - i've not heard of any of these other games though!! i'll have to give them a look, especially the indie horror RPGMs, i have a such a soft spot for those oTL... if we're talking my favorite RPGM, i know theyre like, The Classics but ive always been a fan of ib and ao oni! for games in general though, one that im obsessed with is drakengard 1! i have yet to play the other entries in the series - im trying to play them in order, with nier:automata technically being the last - and honestly the gameplay isnt... the best at all, but its one of my favorites just cuz of how unapologetically dark and gritty and strange the story is.

the OST in particular tends to be either loved or hated with a PASSION but personally im in love with it 9_9;; its super expressionistic and unconventional and perfectly fits the desperate, grotesque energy of the story, and depending on how you analyze it the OST lends itself really well to both the twisted mentality of the protagonist and its heavy anti-war allegories!! i can never shut up about it LMAO anyway these are my favorite tracks from it x x x x x
