I keep rotating the idea of “argent adoptables” around in my brain and I can’t stop thinking about this.  they’d work really well actually.  the “humanoid body plan + some extra features that have great variety”  setup.  the lore that consists mostly of Why They Are This Way.  the random mashing together of themes (celestial objects, fashion styles).   the separation of the race further into specific classifications (the  marking colors/styles).  the tenuous but visible connection to a fandom that may grab someone’s interest in passing.  help
