And as for backgrounds, there’s tons of things I use to help with that !
1) use pinterest - there are tons of helpful images on there that I use to get inspiration ! There is no shame in using references photos.
2) Take your own pictures - Taking your own pictures helps if you think your art can sometimes be too close to the original reference. (I use this method most !)
Looking at other artist for inspiration is also good ! Any media can be used as inspiration as long as you don’t copy it too closely !
