When I started out making them, I mostly aimed to make a fairly innocent and carefree character. One that wasn't super jaded and hardened by the passage of time. So I kinda surprised myself when I looked back on their story to find it was actually rather melancholy. I'm glad to know that you enjoy and find that their little memory predicament managed to balance things out.
