HMM. I don't have any conscious tactic to do it, I just really like working with colours and making things as colourful as I can but still keeping with the theme of the picture I guess??
One tip I'd give on it is - always turn the colour wheel around atleast a little bit!! For example, if you're using lime green for a few brush strokes, scroll over to maybe a more neon green, and then switch to another one again!! Just have fun, basically?
