Hey MantaRay, so I've got Julyrule wearing a flower crown. Only problem, what colour are her eyes? All her refs got them closed!
Also are her growths coming out of her hair leafy? I've got them looking like leaves.

Her eyes look the same as https://toyhou.se/2903110.julyrule#10073919 the little purple 'eye'/gape on the floating green thing! ie, dark purple and have colourful light spots in them!! They're meant to look like a void/orb filled with mist and lightsÂ
The growths are more so alien-like, but leafy is a o-kay too!! Especially since it's a flower crown drawing hehe that goes with the theme!! Thank you!! <333

HMM. I don't have any conscious tactic to do it, I just really like working with colours and making things as colourful as I can but still keeping with the theme of the picture I guess??
One tip I'd give on it is - always turn the colour wheel around atleast a little bit!! For example, if you're using lime green for a few brush strokes, scroll over to maybe a more neon green, and then switch to another one again!! Just have fun, basically?Â
