I am glad you like them :D People tend to find them boring because they are not "closed species" nor supernatural beings with weird stuff. I am glad there are some other people who like realist modern humans :)
Which characters of yours were you thinking of for relationships ?
I find realistic modern humans to be awesome if developed well, and yours are. ^_^ My boy Kovit owns a clothing store that is hiring for various positions, so maybe Amadeus could apply there? And I have Noah who owns a bookstore, which would be a nice place for Kaoru to possibly visit and meet the store owner and his assistant, since he is a Literature student! I'm not sure about how you feel about Susan, Noah's assistant, but maybe she could try to befriend Kaoru? She's quiet too, but she's not so shy as to not try to make friends.

Amadeus knows nothing about clothes but if this is okay to Kovit, he may apply then. He will take any job, as long as he gets money to buy food....
But Kaoru lives in a strictly realistic world then he cannot encounter kemonomimis...
Susan isn't strictly that, so it could be that she wears toy ears when he meets her. I that works with you then I can specify it in her bio. I am iffy on the ears, anyway. XD
Kovit isn't looking for people who know about clothes, so that works fine! He mostly needs an assistant to help with behind the scenes organization and filing. Can Amadeus do those sort of things?
