I was in the group chat where Clem spoke of this, and I was in fact the person who DMed Maxo. I'm pretty sure both me and the multiple others in this group chat all believed the character wasn't similar but Clem was adamant on it so we DMed Maxo just to make sure he was comfortable, although we didn't really believe that anything besides the concept was similar.
If we're talking about the adopt; I was the owner of said adopt and the one who redesigned it, I believe I had reached out to you or one of the other mods about the situation shortly after Mew let me know something was going on. I was annoyed by the fact that Clem continuously wanted me to just delete it instead of even trying to work with me when I specifically stated I would not be deleting the adopt I rightfully paid for, and offered to just redesign it to where he was comfortable (not mad by the way, just trying to explain stuff ykyk!!)
yes , that was me you dmed ^__^ not mad either. ik i sounded rude when dming maxo back then but thats cause i talk very sternly when warning server members , no hard feelings im very sorry if i was ever an asshat LOL
i also agree that it was stupid considering the only similarity was the fact that the oc was brown......and the shrimp factor which at the time was gaining popularity
US FR SHAKING HANDS RN I'm also sorry if I was very rude at the time too, I pretty much woke up to people telling me to delete my OC, but I think you acted fine :,D!! Also no hard feelings here, moderator stuff is hard and I understand

ofc !! i totally get the feeling. i remember the whole thing starting in a group chat where like 3 people had to offer to get one oc from him and looking back it rly wasnt worth it considering the chara was worth like 60 dollars yet the art offered was worth almost 100 :')) and then they asked me to DM maxo which is why im even involved in this at all
