Oh Dallas, poor poor Dallas. Crossing the street without looking both ways? How irresponsible.  But fear not dear Dallas, the bane of your existence is here to intervene.

Uno was not here necessarily for Dallas, he wasn't following the man around or even keeping tabs on him, no this was just the wheels of fate turning to present Dallas with Uno all 'look at this funky lil guy', regardless if Dallas wanted to be around Uno, or not.  It wasn't even like Uno was magnanimous, nor did he even genuinely care about Dallas' well being, but he liked him enough to step in.

It wasn't as if Dallas was being stupid, the male had the right of way and the one at fault would have been the driver, past tense because that would have been the case had there been an accident.  There wasn't one, and the reason stood tall, fist full of the back of Dallas' shirt as he easily lifted him like a claw machine picking up a stuffed toy and holding it in the air.

Dallas would hear that soft laugh he had to tolerate on Christmas night, carefully being put down with an added pat to his head.  "You should be more careful, you know? You're quite fragile." It wasn't necessarily meant as an insult, just the truth as humans got hurt so easily compared to the fox.

He winces at the sensation of being pulled upwards, then again at Uno's voice. The moment he's set down, he rounds on him, grey hues blaring with storminess. This wouldn't be the first nor last time Uno saw him in such a mood. Actually, it was likely the only one he'd ever been exposed to other than the brief one of desperation Dallas had worn during their first meeting.

"Fuck off." He snaps. "I don't need you to look out for me or show up out of no where pretending like you care. I'm careful enough and if I'm not and something happens, then whatever. Who cares."
