(woahhh this is so cool !! anyway im not sure how you feel on furry characters but yea hopefully he isnt too hard to draw?)

Shadow isn't one to make wishes, if any at all but there he was, standing in front of the tree, watching all of the paper that hung sway along with the wind. After a moment, he grabbed his pencil and held onto the paper in his hand, hovering over it with his pencil whilst thinking if this is even something he'd want to do. He's not someone that's very open and isn't even sure it'd be worth the trouble. He doesn't believe that it'll even come true considering what he went through and just shouldn't be depending on something that he had no faith in. Despite his hesitation though, he let out a heavy sigh and slowly started to write out his wish.

"I wish i could see her again for one last time even if that seems rather impossible. I want to tell my sister that I still love her and that I'm sorry."

He reread what he wrote mutiple times and blankly gazed at the piece of paper he was holding in his now trembling hands. Even though at this point he knows he can't bring her back and has accepted on what's happened, he still deeply misses his sister and regrets that his last interaction with her was an argument they had. He'd do anything just to see her again, even if it was for a moment. He felt some tears streaming but quickly wiped them away and looked around to make sure nobody saw. Without anymore hesitation, Shadow gently hung up the paper with great care and stood there to see it sway and flutter with the breeze. He thought to himself that whilst he doesn't believe it will come true, it does bring some sort of solace just purely by the thought that it could. Though he couldn't stand there any longer as he'd rather not be spotted by anyone and he did had to go back home. He faced away from the tree and walked down the steps, though he'd make a final look at the tree before turning back to make his way home.

With steady hands, the wish became the heart of a doll made of memories, grief, and love.

Grief is the price we pay for love. Gather the love with no place to go to the corner of your eyes. Then, honor her memory by being the things you loved most about her.
