thank you!! <33 i used paint tool sai 2 although really i practically only used the binary pen which should be almost the same on any program :0c i'm just mostly comfortable with sai since that's what i've had for forever 🌸
mhm! just make sure to turn off any anti-aliasing and to use binary pen and equivalents ^^
if i could also give more tips:
1. i'd advise against using any brush other than the binary pen and eraser ( avoid airbrushes etc. since you don't want anti-aliasing on your pixels )
2. try to limit the amount of colors you use as much as possible and try to reuse the same color on different parts of the drawing ( this helps making it look "clean" and not super crowded with random pixels )
3. reference other pixel artists and art in general that you enjoy! ( it's also a good idea to save pixel images and zoom in on them to really look at how they drew things )
