I'd still use alive! The dead/alive dichotomy in my tags is one I use to denote whether the character still plays an active role in the story or not, and a still-functioning robot, while not alive, would still have such an active role. Of course, it's all up to you how you tag them! It could be functional or active as well, though active as a tag has different connotations on TH

Pardon, but what tags would you use if a character is not quite alive but not quite dead? (Like a machine for example!)
