...That said, Cynyan must have gotten their start somehow, so now I wonder if Cynyan is a proper spirit [the character came first], or closer in nature to what they call a "tulpa" [the franchise came first].
[If you don't know, a "tulpa" is a living, independent entity born from imagination--kinda like an imaginary friend turned "real". According to TV Tropes, tulpas in fiction tend to be hostile or neutral at best, but it seems Cynyan is pretty much benign.

I do like the idea of tulpas! It's interesting!
I can't confirm any of this yet, since it's part of the lore I'm still writing :3 All about Cynyan's start and backstory will be revealed eventually
