TBH it's nothing super organized a lot of it is funny little things [mostly songs and localized versions of the names] , but like, for Leo all I had down was 'obnoxious amounts of belts florida man' sometimes silly little notes can help a lot and sometimes i end up combining character ideas if one seems like it's lacking!
really though, if you don't like how an idea is panning out you can always find something silly to add to it and you might end up liking it! [jojo characters I find the most fun because you can be like 'this is my vampire character named Funkee Townhe and he's deathly afraid of mirrors and his stand is walkin on sunshine' and it just works out like that] You def can embrace the silliness!
BUT ALSO ABT THE UNIVERSE, I see it's gonna be set in the future how future did you wanna go w/ it? I'd like to match my characters with the style you have in mind for the part best I can! :- ) [even if you have only a general vibe I can work w/ it!]
Also finally... someone who also really loves part 6 🙏 parts 1,5, and 6 are my top faves so far though i am enjoying part 7 a lot! I'm abt maybe... 15% into it... if that haha

well its better then what i got, the only person i really wrote down some notes for was Jocelyn and literally all i had down was "triangles" hhhh so i just ended up adding a whole bunch of random triangles to her outfit and her earrings-
ill keep what you said in mind next time i make a character and i shall let my ideas run free, my brain sort of locks up when thinking of outfits and hairstyles for some reason, it honestly kinda annoys me because it makes it such a pain in the butt to create decent character designs
its set in about 2030, so 19-18 years apart from part 6 which was set in 2011 i believe? correct me if im wrong, so definitely a bit more of a outfit change, although i didnt go to crazy with jocelyn and farah`s outfits, i always have a bad habit with giving villains more crazy outfits
my favorite jojo parts are 4,6,and 7 are for some odd reason!

It's nice to meet you Katherine!!! AND I LOVE THAT THO, PFF sometimes that's all you need really you made a really cool looking character off that word alone so I think maybe you don't give yourself enough credit!
Outfits are super hard though I get it, and hair it's a nightmare there's almost too many options it becomes overwhelming i dunno if you wanted more advice[i am sorry i tend to go off abt character design dfdghjh] but I also struggle a lot with this sorta thing and found looking at high fashion and runway images help me a lot esp if i search for certain decades and whatnot :- ) [usually with jojo ocs this works best, for more modern casual ocs i honestly just be like 'what do i want to wear but cant' or 'what have i seen other people wear that looks cool' i probably put too much thought into it but i sometimes just think about the type of person they are which affects their fashion choices]
But yesss!! Futuristic is awesome! I am def getting almost a retro-futuristic vibe from their outfits I can def work with
Did you have anything else in mind or other details? like villain motivations or anything! also if you prefer we can swap over to DM's!
i was actually gonna switch up jocelyns outfit a bit or something like that, maybe possibly a second outfit because i sorta wanna keep her original at the same time, i will take literally any advice because im trying to get better at character designs
i will definitely keep the things you say in mind for making characters! i also sometimes look at clothing and fashion models for some inspo but sometimes i just cant find things that i personally think would fit the design decently, i usually combine a few outfits that i find together to make basically a mashup of different styles
indeed futuristic is definitely awesome, ive been wondering alot about the future and how it will be and stuff like that!
villain motivations.. im not so sure of because im not very creative with that stuff, theres still some details that i need to think of like motivations in general, exact location,etc
but i guess the main villains goal is to escape their awaiting destiny that they are bound to by fate
