just popping in, nah in a lot of cases if you're severely mentally ill and cannot function on your own for the most part, legally parents will control many aspects of the child's life, ESPECIALLY finances. i am one of those cases but thankfully more or less handle everything on my own now and have legal independence :) however in this case given how based on a LOT of people claiming they have been commissones by the person for years and not once was the mom ever involved... i have my reservations on not believing the mom was ever involved unless they provide proof. if they were in a case like i described with mine, they never would've been able to spend such insane amounts on ocs. sounds more like intense spending gone wrong and now they're trying to save their own ass lmao
YUP!! glad we had the same thought process! yeah if it was all behind the mom's back i heavily doubt the mom wouldn't have noticed especially as big as a purchase as $400+ from two purchases alone. can't wait to see what excuses get told honestly. praying everyone gets their money back, so many artists i'm a regular of got chargebacked in this shitfest and i have been Horrified all day watching things get worst and worse
