their manapheez account is now closed.
Gill still has plans to ban evade and make new accounts, so please be cautious of any empty/new accounts that follow or interact with you (proof)
they show no remorse for their actions and are just actively trying to start shit at this point, so just block, report and move on.
theres been some discussion of remaking a thread on them in the PSA section, but i unfortunately dont have the time or energy to maintain a thread. if you'd like to create one, please contact me if you require assistance and ill do my best to help.

TLDR: Gill is back under a new account purposely evading artist's blacklists and blocks in order to new obtain commissions. Their new account is manapheez (report link incase of username change) Please use your best judgement and think carefully before you decide to do business with them.

i'm not in any position to be writing a full scale PSA, so if anyone can help me gather screenshots/info etc i'd appreciate it. i'm doing my best 🥹
when i made the bulletin regarding the whole sheller / jodora chargeback situation this morning, it was only just developing, and even though i've been following it throughout the day, i cant believe how much it's escalated (over $3500+ has been chargebacked, possibly even more.)
i won't sugarcoat it, i'm going through some scary medical issues at the moment so i really dont need this.
i know what i lost was only small compared to what others lost, but im currently going through a lot of testing to figure out whats going on (im praying its not anything malicious) and it's all so expensive, ever dollar counts right now for me and $35 is like $50 in AUD.
i dont even think paypal is gonna side with me tbh 😭

i really hoped i didnt have to update anything related to this PSA again but Gill is still active despite stating they're taking a step back from the community to work on themselves.
people can use their own judgement whether or not they want to continue business with them, however Gill is actively ban and block evading artists in order to obtain commissions from them.
at some point recently their accounts, Helter and Teller, were closed ( i dont know whether voluntarily or by the admin but i have a feeling its the latter )
i've been informed an artist (let's call them Artist D as they'd like to remain anonymous ) that Gill has a new account and has been actively commissioning artists. Artist D has also informed me they've had Gill blocked and blacklisted for an unrelated issue for years prior, and as of the 12th of March, has created side accounts in order to commission Artist D.
their new username is manapheez (report link incase of username change) and is seeking commissions and sales from others whilst hiding their identity and block/ban evading.
at the end of the day you can choose to do business with Gill if you want, but hiding their identity and sneaking around blocks and blacklists just shows disrespect.
please use your best judgement and think carefully before you decide to do business with them.

as of me updating this bulletin on the 13/3/24, Gill has returned all of the funds to the affected parties as seen here. this PSA i'm marking as resolved 🎉

so since this bulletin has been shared around and this situation has unfortunately escalated since i posted this, i'm adding a couple more bits of information. as of 27/02/24, Gill has not contacted me personally to try to resolve the situation.
if anyone can help me gather screenshots i'd be grateful, as i don't exactly have the strength or energy to write a full scale PSA on them right now so any help would be appreciated. i'm doing my best.

They filed a chargeback against me for an adoptable they purchased on the 15th of February of $35 claiming they didn’t make the purchase (which is … a lie)
Dozens of other artists have been hit whether it be through adopt sales or commissions.
I know they’ve been promoting their resales quite heavily so please be wary interacting with them.

its been a little while, hasnt it? i hope everyone is well and having a good 2024 so far!
i figured i'd do a little check in to show im alive, even though i have been uploading some adopts here and there.
im really tired, so i wont type too much and tbh i dont feel comfortable sharing too much, but:
tl;dr last year family member started a restaurant, and despite me living my own life and not agreeing to the restaurant, i got roped into it under the impression id be there for like 2 weeks till things got stable, i ended up staying there for multiple months, travelling almost 2-3hrs to get to said restaurant, ran the entire front of house by myself (awful). i felt so isolated from my partner and friends because i was at the restaurant all the time, and when i wasn't i was so mentally and physically tired. i worked 12-13hrs a day, slept on the couch, then wake up and go straight back to work another day back to back. it was taking a toll on me and tbh at one point i felt like i forgot how to draw.
the situation .... is a lot more complicated, but i cant get into it here.
but i quit yesterday. my anxiety couldnt handle another day at that place and i'm ready to start 2024 fresh and new! 🎊
youll be seeing me a lot more! more adopts of course, and ill be trying to set up my vgen so i can take commissions there since im basically unemployed for the time being lol
