Yeah it can be really disheartening. The best change to get free(ish) art would be art trades if raffles are not working. I know of a really great discord art trade server where youre almost guaranteed to get your characters drawn, if you are interested.
np. to stay in the sever you must do at least one trade for someone else once a year. You start with being able to submit two ocs but to submit more you must complete artworks for other people.
