I actually just went back and cleaned up my art example page on here, since I had almost 80 images on there! It was kinda cool to see how much my art has changed, and I really enjoy my new style right now! Your designs really intrigue me, they really reflect your characters personalities so much, and they're really pleasing to look at!
Looking back on the past to now is such a good move! It can be really beneficial for you as a person, because sometimes you could do something you liked in one part and adapt it to how you work now :3
Thank you! .. Ironically, I got the artwork first and then worked myself around that, and from them, came an entire lore that I never ever expected myself to get. Sometimes things happen in weird ways, and having a close friend I could (Literally) throw money at to be my personal artist helped!
I'm certainly the artist of my friend group! It's so much fun getting to draw my friend's characters and stuff, especially getting to see their reactions when I surprise them with art! It's pretty cool getting to share my characters and ideas with my friends, I love getting to bounce ideas off of them and see what they like and dislike about my designs ^^
I kinda do the same thing with developing my characters around their designs! That's why I love being able to do custom trades and offer on characters one here, because when I see a design I really like, it gives me all kinds of ideas for new characters (resulting in the 300 I currently have ^^) <3
Oh goodness I think I need a sit down after that one! goodness, you are absolutely wild with how many you've pumped out, BUT, saying that you've clearly enjoyed everything you've ever done some how and for that I am 100% behind you and what you do. Doing what we love is important and we should encourage that in everyone where ever we can
