I've been considering releasing these stories as web novels one day. I'd love to get published properly, but I don't think I have the confidence and I think it might be better to release them to a format my main audience (a.k.a. you and three other people lmao) can easily access :)
Huh, I see. Is it hard to publish something like that and find an audience if it's online? And believe me, if I had the power I'd make the world read your books.
I wanted to write a book too at the beginning but then I realised my English will never be good enough for that. Instead I'm now aiming for a comic in the future. I just don't know what it'd be about since I am one uninspired person.
Who knows? If the weirdest stuff can get a large following then so can you. But I do getcha, it'd make my life a lot easier if I could easily access it like that.
Yeah, same! But one problem is I don't wanna start work and cringe from it later. My art skill is really low at this point in time. When I look back at art from a year ago I cringe. If I were to set a character's story in stone now, chances are that in a year I'll hate the art and I'll have changed many things about the story already anyway. I don't wanna have to redraw everything either. But I also don't wanna wait too long. Eh, I guess it's just a bit complex ^^;
The example I'm giving in this paragraph may be very crude, but I think that there's a series that does the entire storyline and showing different characters' stories very well, plus it has a great art style. I'm talking about Oglaf. I really admire the creator for their great sense of humour and timing and for their ability to create comics. I don't wanna do anything NSFW but I do think if I were to make a comic I'd do it in a format comparable to Oglaf's.
Yeah. Honestly, I'd be satisfied if my small group of friends read it. A bigger following I can always dream of, but I'm fine with a small audience |D
I totally understand! It's the same with my writing. The first draft of Demon Arc was absolutely terrible to say the least and I'm glad I never put it online. I'm working on a second draft but even that has a lot of holes in it. I think what I'm going to do is just keep writing draft after draft until there's a hint of satisfaction on my end.
Oh man I FREAKING LOVE OGLAF. I haven't read it in ageeees. That'd be a cool format to work with. Hopefully we'll see it someday eh?

I think it would be difficult to get a major following tbh, but at least it would be there for the people who want to read it, ya know?
A comic based on your stuff would be great! I'd love to see how all your character's stories in comic format.
