That's like saying if someone gives me something in real life I'm not allowed to sell it for money a while later
If this is how closed species actually work, it's stupid, picky and I want no part of it any longer.

So I replied "I am sorry if I came off rude originally, I was just trying to get my point across.
But yes, this is how most closed species work, some you are not even allowed to sell myos at all.
And others there is absolutely no selling.
There are a few closed species like foxponds who do allow selling even if you traded but only for what the person originally bought them for.
It's mainly to keep people from just buying them to profit from them, or trade their way up just to profit.
Species owners want to see people use the character and love them and not see them as just pixels with a pricetag.
I do hope you understand, and this is not only jellycats, go to any species rules (Ex. Jolleraptors, sushidogs, foxfans).
It's just kinda how things work.
If you read most species terms of service you are buying partial rights to the design, and have to follow the species, or the design markers rules."
OH ok thats what you were talking about i thought you were saying that the person who said jellycats were a ripoff got mad /D that makes more sense -- ok just tell them that the rules clearly states that if you traded for the jellycat then you can't sell the jellycat because you didn't pay anything for it technically (currency wise)
I just got a new baby lizard today, so I am so happy, my other lizard is the same breed as him and female, and he is male, I think I have a breeding pair once they age.
Anyways what style should I do the masterlist in? also if you can ever check DA, accept my journal into the group about seeking jellycats for the masterlist.

I covered that in my long thing, They ignored me and later posted a journal about how they quit closed species forever
