They quietly stare at Cloud as he speaks to them, seeming shocked by what was unfolding in front of them - enough to hesitate to respond for slightly too long when Cloud offered the chocolates out to them. They blink a few times, snapping themselves out of it. "Th...Thank you." They say quietly, reaching out the eye slot with one gloved hand, and taking the box from Cloud. They pause again, staring somewhere inside the shack... 

They cough loudly, returning their gaze outside. "Anyway--" They return their voice to a more normal tone, although it sounds a little... off. "Your Geneode. Let me tell you how to open it..."
