ahhh no it doesn't require premium!! you have to turn on "code editor" in display settings, and find some HTML. just a warning though, there are basic layouts like: https://toyhou.se/1328725.columns-profile but it's nice to know a good bit of HTML, and if you turn on code editor, the basic toy house stuff goes away. Like looking through basic table codes and stuff from the layout once you are in HTML mode, it's a headache XD everything has to be html if you want pretty stuff.
