Honestly i personally don't really decide what the hell i draw. My hand decides. When it becomes a fullbody it becomes a fullbody :v
when you can't decide between fullbody or icon
i know people who do both, but my personal view is icons are icons and fullbodies are fullbodies
I'm the same as the user above my hand does what it wants. Sometimes it ends up being a half body, sometimes I just can't continue the drawing past a bust. It also depends on what works when I get to a good stopping point since sometimes half body sketches end up working better cropped to a bust!
For me it's what/who to draw.
There have been several times where I've put all my OC's names into a random number generator and made myself draw whoever's name rng spat out because I just did not know who I wanted to draw at that given moment.
Once I have an OC to work with the next challenge is figuring out what I want to draw that fits the character rng gave me to work with.
