Ali fell in love with Bree as soon as she laid eyes on her. Ali doesn’t know how to tell her about it so she just pushes it down along with the rest. As it turns out, it is much harder than Ali thought. She has a really hard time pushing down her feelings and almost lets it slip many times in front of her people.

Aliyah, or Ali, Is the Commander or the people known as the Kanari. She is a feared and ruthless leader, but deep down she is kind and compassionate. She fell in love with a girl named Bree, of the Sky people, and she has had a soft spot that she has been trying to hide from everyone. She is really good at forcing all of her emotion down and into a resource for her battles where she lets out all her frustration and anger out on her enemies. Ali loves having Bree around, and may or may not be a little scared of her, but she also admires Bree, for her courage and Strength.
Personality:
Ali Is a very cold person most of the time. She doesn't show emotion to people, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have any emotions. She has plenty, but she pushes them all down to become the best leader she can for her people. She puts her people first all the time and she always does what she thinks is beat for them. Ali is the queen of sass, many people don't know this but she is, she always has a witty remark wait for anyone who pisses her off. She is hard and cold on the outside but sweet and soft on the inside, her biggest fear is for something to happen to Bree, and that Ali won't be able to help her. Ali usually keeps to herself, but when she must, she goes and talks with the Kanari officials. She loves to train the younglings, especially the ones they call the Truebloods, the truebloods have black blood instead of red blood, they are trained to become the next commander after the previous one dies.
Appearance:
Ali has lighter reddish-brown hair, that she always wears in complex braids (See above). She wears face paint all the time, kind of like a mask. She has scars all over he arms and hands. A cool vine like tattoo circles her right bicep, running around her arm, down to her wrist and hand, and she has a cool elvish looking ring on her right hand. On her left shoulder she has a tattoo, (NEED IDEA FOR THIS HELP), and then a tattoo running down her back from some sort of test thing to become commander (HELP NEED IDEAS) She always wear mobility compatible clothes, mainly assassin looking clothes, with a cape like thing, I'll put a picture on here as soon as I find one that matches.
Backstory:
Aliyah, or Ali, was never a normal kid. When she was born she was taken from her parents to be trained at the Solytar (the City of Sun). She was a Trueblood (she had black blood), so she had to be traind to be ready to take the position on the commander. She gre up without knowing her parents or having any friends, she learned how to read and write and found joy in book, escaping to worlds where she could be anything, or do anything she wanted. When the Commander had died, Ali was put into a contest to prove her strength. She killed 12 people that day, to win the crown as the new Commander, she was 12 then. She learned from her teachers about how wmotion and love were weakness and how she would need to push these down in order to become a strong leader. As she grew, she grew to be ruthless and uncaring leader. She learned to push all her emotions down and never let them out.
