Ooh, it really depends what kinda vibe I'm going for - I love to listen to ballads and stuff from things like Dracula: The Musical if I want to create something with emotion and stuff, YUNGBLUD is always a safe bet for me too tho, so many of his songs just give off a strong VIBE for me that's good for evoking ideas, another artist I often listen to for ideas is YOHIO hjhsajhajs
another thing you could try that I've just thought of is looking at different vkei or even just regular makeup looks, because they always have such strong aesthetics to them that you can usually find some kind of inspiration for a certain TYPE of drawing (a lot of the ones I like evoke a sort of grungy, goth, dark vibe)

YES! I was just looking at fashion and bjd faces and all that stuff. I love vkei fashion, it’s so dramatic and so intensely different? I used to watch a lot of vkei bands and I still love the style and music. I think my issue is that I like too many styles and things, so it’s hard to combine it into one coherent thing. LOL

I really love the 2014 Korean one with Kim Junsu as Dracula, I'm not usually into Korean music all that much and it took me like forever to find out this guy apparently is a Kpop idol or smthn I thinK? But his performance as Dracula was *chef's kiss* and also MINA SOUNDS LIKE AN ANGEL EXCUSE??? And just,,, Van Hellsing that's all imma say. Van Hellsing. THE MAN WHO PLAYS VAN HELLSING-- His voice. I just. I still don't know who it is but tHIS MAN has such a powerful voice I love it.
