Hello and welcome to the JJBA discussion thread! As the title may imply, this thread exists as a discussion thread for all things jojo - whether it be the anime, manga, or any of the aspect of the fandom that you wish to talk about. As of now there isn't a set list of rules to abide by, but I do ask that you tag spoilers, remain polite to your fellow users, and refrain from 18+ conversation. Nonetheless, feel free to scream about the jojo!!

Aaand, I suppose that I should answer my own questions!

I can't remember the specifics, but I believe that I had seen a mixture of clever memes and fanart in relation to JJBA. At the time I'd been looking for something to watch, and well, here I am!
I've read/watched up to Jojolion, but have given it a break with the intention of returning to it soon. I initially watched the first three seasons of the anime, then caught myself up with the manga.
My favourite characters hands down are Risotto and Doppio. However, I also have special spots for Prosciutto, Mista, Fugo, Okuyasu, and Iwasuke. Favourite stands would be Killer Queen, Purple Haze, Spice Girl, and White Album. And, if it wasn't already apparent, Part 5 happens to be at the top of my list.
I have! They're all branches off of part 5 [surprise, I know] but exist in a separate area with only brief appearances from the canon characters.

How did you find/get into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?
My ex pushed me into it! My first time watching Phantom Blood, I thought that Jonathan was the nice funny grandpa from part 3, so imagine my surprise when that proved to be false...

Which part are you currently on? Did you start with the anime or manga?
I kind of jump between parts; I'm currently watching Vento Aureo when I can, and I think I'm going to go into rereading Stone Ocean soon :J I started with the anime but then read the manga before DIU started airing.

Do you have a favourite character? Favourite stand? Favourite part?
I love the villains... Villain house is good. But I also love all the Jojos and Jobros.. I guess top faves would be Diavolo, Kira, Doppio, Weather Report, Hot Pants and Diego. Kars is an honorable mention. Fave stand is Killer Queen, fave part... probably 4? But I love all the parts too lol

Have you created any characters for the JJBA fandom?
I sure have! Prada Givenchy is my Stone Ocean fancharacter, and I also had at one point a couple under-developed Pillar Men ocs, ZZ and Rush. (I have the art for them around somewhere.)

How did you find/get into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?: Joel of Vinesauce showed me it existed, but never really gave it a shot until a recent friend was like "hey why not" and I got to show them Kamen Rider Black in exchange, sure they did better, but I did real good too :p
Which part are you currently on? Did you start with the anime or manga? Caught up all the way. Yay the slow month for a chapter grind... But hey that's better on Araki than the weekly release so hell yeah I'm for it. Started with the Part 1 anime and then went manga for part 6 onward.

Joseph the best Jojo, I don't write the laws. Jolyene is also a good. I like a lot of stands, and yeah Star Platinum stands out(or should I say stands proud heheh) cause I am that basic bitch for the buff beef punchers. And then other characters got great moments and just aaa too many really.

Not directly, but I worked Hamon into my universe kinda(Like it is straight up Hamon, the kinda part is I halfassed it), and I mean I have had some designs inspired by the series. But not a proper character as I avoid any and all fandoms despite how good the source material is.

How did you find/get into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?

I have a long complicated history with JJBA, but I'll condense it. My abusive ex-friend tried really hard to push me into it (and ignoring anything I would suggest for him but I digress)- and at that trying to get me to start on PART 7. It didn't really stick with me too much to his dismay, lol. After that I couldn't stand anything that had to do with JJBA since it reminded me of him and distance myself from the series. I got over that aversion eventually but I didn't get into it until a few months before the Vento Aureo anime started airing.

Which part are you currently on? Did you start with the anime or manga?

I've read up to the end of Part 7. I don't plan on reading Jojolion until it's all finished. I started with the manga.

How did you find/get into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?

One of my classmates was showing me part 3 memes around the time it was airing, and I thought it looked like a fun and interesting series to get into!

I started with the anime! I'm currently trying to find the time to read Stone Ocean! I'm really looking forward to reading it!

Telence T. D'arby is my favorite! I love everything about him, aaaaaaa (and he's a lame gamer, his theme is rlly good, and we share a birthday!!)

Kinda torn on a single favorite Stand, but my top five are probably: Atum, Yellow Temperance, Ebony Devil, Geb, and Spice Girl!

My favorite part is Stardust Crusaders! I like the characters, story, Stands, and music references more than any other part. Everything about SDC is really good, in my opinion!

I have a few, but I haven't gotten around to uploading them on here yet! I'll try to edit this post once I get 'em uploaded but Rush is my Stardust Crusaders chara, she works for Dio and her Stand is Nut. I have a little gang of Vento Aureo girls, the main two being: Giulia Cassata (Stand: Kiss You Off) and Minerva "Cabaret" Shaindlin (Stand: Hi-De-Ho Man).

How did you find/get into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?
Decided to get into it during lockdown (in March), best decision ever!!

Which part are you currently on? Did you start with the anime or manga?
Part 8... but I'm not caught up (I think I'm halfway through?). I'm the kind of person who hates waiting for the next serial so I'm waiting for more to come out until I start reading again. I started with the anime, watched until pt. 5, and then read the rest. I've been thinking about going back and reading the manga though (particularly pt. 4)

Favorite Jojo - definitely Jolyne, with Josuke as a close second. I just find them the most relatable. Jolyne has become a favorite of mine to draw.
Non-Jojo fave - Okuyasu. I'd read a spin-off about him tbh. Oh also Lucy Steel is an extremely underrated character imo.
Fav villain - DIO. No explanation necessary.
Fav stand - Killer Queen meow, Star Platinum is also cool.
Fav part - Diamond is unbreakable

No... fan-characters aren't really my thing. I just like drawing general fanart. But I have thought before that designing some stands would be really fun. When I redesigned my character Siu, I drew a small amount of inspiration from Jolyne.

I'm on part 5, skipped part 4 but I'll go back to it when I'm done because I didn't wanna watch a lighthearted part and then get my heart broken. Started with the anime.

How did you find/get into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?

It came o on toonami & at first I was like "looks whack no thank you" but then I actually watched the last ep of phantom blood & the first of the second part & i just kinda fell in love

as said above, I startd at the end of the first part, however I eventually went back on my own time to read cuz they pushed it back 30 mins to air somm else. I'm currently on the last part got into the 100s with the chapters but i'm still not done

speed wagon, hol horse, Jonathan & Joseph joestar, iggy, koichi, mountain tim or whatever his name was, that one dude from part one, & wammu. Stand wise i'd have to say diver down, that cat from part 4 & d4c. I don't really have a favorite part

I try from time to time to make one but they just end up as one off sketches.
